GROTTO RAFFAEL

The 150-year-old Grotto Raffael is one of the oldest and most typical Grotti in Ticino and still serves traditional Ticino dishes. With its fantastic terrace in the shade of huge, centuries-old plane trees, it is the ideal place on hot summer days. A small playground also makes it perfect for families. In spring and autumn we have a large indoor dining room (up to 60 people) warmed by an old fireplace.

Con la sua fantastica terrazza all’ombra di enormi platani secolari è il luogo ideale per le calde giornate estive. Un piccolo parco giochi lo rende perfetto anche per le famiglie. Nei mesi primaverili e autunnali abbiamo un’ampia sala interna (fino a 60 persone) scaldata da un antico camino.

Such a great Restaurant! Very atmospheric outdoor seating under trees and next to the rocks. Absolutely friendly staff, which can speak several languages. I don't even need to talk about the meals, it was just so delicious. Especially the Risotto - you need to try that, seriously.
